Bob
Simpson

Bob received the
M.F.A. degree in theatre design and technology from the University
of Mississippi.
He has been a part
of the ASU theatre program since joining the faculty in 1983
as technical director. He teaches History of Theatre I and
II, and Motion Picture Appreciation. Bob has designed
professionally for the Arkansas Repertory Theatre, and various theatres in Branson, Missouri.

Molly
Simpson
Professor
of Theatre, Acting, Musical Theatre

 |
| Molly
has been a member of the ASU faculty since 1988. She received
her M.F.A. degree from the University of Southern Mississippi,
and has trained in New York City at HB Studio and AIA Camera.
She is a member of Actor's Equity Association and active in
professional aspects having played stage roles at Arkansas Repertory
Theatre, Playhouse on the Square and Highland Summer Theatre.
She has done television and commercial work spanning
local, regional, national, and international markets. Her directing
accomplishments include over 30 productions including award
winning shows at The American College Theater Festival.
Molly teaches Beginning Acting, Audition Techniques, Creative
Improvisation, Period Styles in Acting, Advanced Acting, Acting
on Camera, Musical Theatre Performance, and Dramatic Literature. |

Stacy
Alley
Assistant
Professor of Theatre, Acting, Voice, & Movement

 |
|
Stacy teaches acting,
dance , voice, and movement at Arkansas State University.
She has performed professionally since the age of eleven in
various cities both in the U.S. and internationally, including
five years in Radio City Music Hall's Christmas Spectacular.
She is also a professional choreographer and has taught tap,
ballet, and jazz for 15 years. She is member of Screen
Actor's Guild, the Southeastern Theatre Conference, the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies in NYC, and Society
of American Fight Directors. Stacy holds a Master of
Fine Arts degree in Acting Pedagogy from the University of
Alabama and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from the
University of Southern California. She teaches courses
in Beginning Acting, Voice and Movement I and II, Stage Combat/Movement,
Introduction to Dance, Tap, Ballet, and Jazz.

Jeff
McLaughlin
Assistant
Professor, Scenic & Lighting Design & Technical Direction
|

 |
|
Jeff is excited to serve as a designer
and technical director for the department of theatre at ASU.
He is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City's
MFA Scenic Design program. He recently worked in the
Midwest with the Lawrence Arts Center, Coterie Theatre, American
Player's Theatre, Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, Rockhurst
University and Baker University. Recent honors include
Meritorious Achievement in Scene Design from the American
College Theatre Festival, Best Suporting Actor at the Baker
University as well as being invited to Ming Cho Lee's Clambake
at the Lincoln Center in New York to display his scenic designs.
Jeff teaches courses in Scenic Design, Stage Lighting, Scenic
Painting, Sound Design, and Computer-aided Design.
